Certificates of Insurance

Proof of coverage for your general contractor, the city, or the property owner

Same day, most of the time

If we write the policy, we can issue the certificate. Fill in the form below and we'll email it over — usually within a few hours during business hours. If you're standing on a job site and need it now, call Spencer at 952-956-2502 and he'll do it while you're on the phone.

The endorsement questions below matter more than they look. Additional insured and waiver of subrogation are the two things a general contractor most often demands, and a certificate missing them gets rejected — which means reissuing it and losing a day. If you're not sure what your contract requires, send us the contract and we'll read the insurance section for you.

YOUR BUSINESS

If you have them handy. We can look them up.

Check whatever the contract asks for. If you're not sure, send us the contract and we'll read it.

02

WHO NEEDS THE CERTIFICATE

Exactly as it should appear — the general contractor, property owner, or city.

Their full mailing address. This has to match what the contract says.

Same day is usually fine — just tell us.

ENDORSEMENTS THE CONTRACT REQUIRES

Required limits, specific wording, a 30-day notice of cancellation — paste the insurance section of the contract here if it's easier. Getting this right the first time saves reissuing it.

Your information goes straight to our office. We never sell your data.

If your workers comp is through the Assigned Risk Plan

Contractors who can't get workers compensation in the standard market end up in the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Assigned Risk Plan. If that's you, your policy is handled by one of four servicing carriers — and certificates for those policies come from the carrier, not from us. We can't issue them on your behalf, so going direct is genuinely faster.

Not sure which carrier you're with? It's printed on your policy documents and your premium invoices. If you can't find it, call us and we'll look it up — that's a two-minute job for us.

Superior Point

The fastest of the four. Superior Point has a self-service certificate portal — log in and download proof of coverage yourself, no waiting. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central.
